Amanda Shipley, PT, DPT, MTC

Dr Amanda Shipley founder of Renew Pelvic Health and pelvic floor physical therapist in Decatur Georgia

Dr. Amanda Shipley is a pelvic floor physical therapist with over 20 years of experience helping people in the Atlanta area prevent pelvic floor issues, reclaim their bodies, and move through life's biggest transitions — pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and beyond — with confidence and comfort.

There's a version of healthcare where pelvic floor physical therapy is as routine as going to the dentist. That's the standard of care Dr. Amanda Shipley is working to create — one patient, one conversation, one transformed life at a time.

As the founder of Renew Pelvic Health in Decatur, Georgia, Dr. Shipley brings more than two decades of physical therapy expertise and nearly 19 years of specialized pelvic health practice to every session. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University (where she earned the Clinical Education Award for superior clinical abilities), a Manual Therapy Certification from the University of St. Augustine, and advanced training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Health Rehabilitation Institute and APTA.

But what sets Amanda apart isn't just her credentials — it's how she practices.

She treats you as a whole person. That means your physical symptoms, yes — but also the nervous system patterns, nutritional habits, and emotional landscape that shape your health. In addition to hands-on manual therapy and individualized movement prescriptions, Amanda incorporates tools like red light therapy and research-backed supplements into care plans. She also works closely with your other providers, because she believes the best outcomes happen when your whole care team is aligned.

Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Shipley lives in Atlanta and enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two cats, playing soccer, reading, and traveling when possible.

Dr. Shipley sees patients of all genders, ages 18 and up, both in-person at her Decatur office and virtually.
